As I did 5 ways to help save marine animals from endangerment on a blog before, why not do 5 ways to help save land animals from endangerment. Here we go...
1. Don't litter!
Littering is one of the main causes of animal extinction and endangerment. Throw your rubbish in the correct bin, even if the bin is a long way away.
2. Learn more about local wildlife
Learning more about local wildlife is a good way to help save animals from endangerment because then you know more about them. Tell your friends and family as well, so more people become aware of what's happening.

3. Donate money to companies that help save animals
Some animal companies like the WWF, National Geographic and the RSPCA work to help save all animals from endangerment and extinction. Donating money to them can help them do their jobs and keep animals safe, healthy and protected. You could even adopt an animal to donate money. No, you don't get to keep it in your house but it's yours and the company you adopt it from looks after it for you.
4. Pick up any litter you see lying around
Just by picking up litter is helping save animals. I know it might be disgusting but think of all the lives of poor animals you're saving. You don't need to pick up every piece of litter in the whole world, but every piece you pick up counts.
5. Don't buy products from threatened or endangered species
Avoid buying products from threatened or endangered species. That includes palm oil from Orangutans habitat, ivory from Elephant tusks, coral, shells from turtles and tortoises, animal furs and skins. Buy alternatives or don't buy them at all. Also try avoiding items like makeup and beauty products tested on animals.

Fact of the Week: 75% of people admitted that they littered in the past 5 years
Word count: 317
Character count: 1604
