Bonjour et bienvenue! Back with another week-daily blog. Today's topic is a simple question I've been wondering for a while now... Why are the main characters of the TV show Endangered Species not endangered?
Endangered Species is a TV show on the channel ABC3 in Australia and the main characters are (left to right) Merl, Gull and Pickle.

As you know, whenever you go to beaches, you ALWAYS see seagulls, To be precise, there are approximately 1.8 million seagulls on Earth, so there's no way they can be endangered. As for Pickle, rabbits also aren't endangered. The only species of endangered rabbits are Columbia Basin Pygmy Rabbits, which Pickle does not look like. Pickle looks more like a Fujian Yellow Rabbit, which are not endangered. But... it looks like Merl is a red squirrel which were once endangered when people introduced North American Grey squirrels in to Great Britain. There are only 140,000 red squirrels left in the UK and over 2.5 million greys. Reds are classified as "Least Concern" (population decreasing) so they are not endangered.

I have sent the creator of Endangered Species Asaph Fipke (also created shows like Slugterra and Rated A for Awesome) an email asking if I could possibly interview him, but as I know he is a busy person, he might not have time. But it's worth trying and I'll just have to wait! If I do get to interview him, all the questions will be here, on this website.
That's all for today, au revoir!
Fact of the Day: Red Squirrels are excellent swimmers!
